About
I am a working artist and educator from New York. I enjoy working in a wide range of mediums including drawing, painting, photography, digital, sculpture, and printmaking. My experimentation often mixes media.

Mission
As an aspiring art educator, I strive combine sophisticated techniques, culture, and art history in the classroom. While in the prime of young students' educational exploration in the arts, I hope to encourage students to create without fear of making “good” art as they seek to find themselves. While acknowledging the range of artistic interest in my students, I believe art should be a staple in every student’s curriculum as it leads to creative and analytical thinking, visual investigation, coordination, and hands-on skill building. With flexible teaching and engaging lessons, I strive to include something for everyone to enjoy in my classes.
Vision
Each time I undertake the challenging process of learning to work in a new medium, I inevitably come across another invaluable lesson that the medium teaches me. There's a peace of mind in knowing that I can relinquish control and to trust the process, even when I can't imagine how the product might look. I've learned this while glazing ceramics and pressing flowers and ink while printing.
